Lydiard Millicent Parish held a referendum on 6th May 2021, asking local residents to vote on their Neighbourhood Plan, and 92.36% voted in favour of it. Since then, it has been used to affect planning policy and decisions in the area. The plan can be found here:

Lydiard Millicent Neighbourhood Plan Survey
The current Plan is now due for review. Recent changes to national and local planning legislation, such as the emerging Wiltshire Local Plan and revised National Planning Policy make it more important than ever that we do this together now.
It's our home, our community, and our future. How do you want it to grow?
It is vital that the revised plan continues to reflect the views of the local community, so we are asking every resident in the Parish to complete and return a survey. Your answers will guide decisions on housing, traffic, green spaces, and more.
By sharing your views, you can:
- Avoid overdevelopment that could harm our village charm.
- Prevent underdevelopment that risks losing vital facilities and opportunities.
Please complete our survey using the link below by Sunday 30th March. We need your input!
